I spotted this beautiful pup this afternoon when I took a trip to the Battersea Lost Dogs Home. It was heart-wrenching to be reminded not only of just how misrepresented the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed is, but to then learn about the shocking volume of these dogs who come into Battersea on a daily basis. I only hope that we can all start to care for these wonderful creatures in a higher standard than is currently being shown.

To Captain Paul, one of the greatest people I've ever encountered. R.I.P.

While away in Sydney last weekend I was lucky enough to go to a screening of Black Swan. I was left reeling. It was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I've ever had. The entirety of the film was startling, breathtaking, disturbing, graceful. The combination of madness mixed with reality, and the translation of it on screen, threw the film into a new level of originality. The cinematography was isolating, and enabled the viewers to be thrown into the world with the characters portrayed, while an absolutely stunning score fitted in the background, like a glove. The film becomes even more impressive once one realises what strides the actors took to fit their rolls. I have nothing but the highest of regards for this film, and would gladly see it again.
